Here are some short comedy films I wrote and/or directed. They feature big-time stars such as Daniel Dae Kim (Lost, Hawaii Five-O), Bonnie McFarlane (Letterman, HBO), Laura Silverman (Dr. Katz) Brian Palermo (The Tonight Show, Groundlings), Kelly Perine (One on One), Comedy Central comedians Bil Dwyer and Peter Berman, the extremely talented David Earl Waterman, Sean Patrick Murphy, and even a cameo from a plucky young Jim Gaffigan.
A kindly, concerned stranger has been plucked out of an old Western and plopped into modern-day society, where he keeps up the family tradition— relaying bad news to folks he encounters during his rambles. CLIPPERVENTION - a mocku-jocku-mentary
Told in the mode of INTERVENTION, this mocku-jockumentary was made in 2010, when the LA Clippers were still in the stanky basement of the NBA, and their racist then-owner had not yet been outed. The heart-wrenching story of one pathetic fan (David Earl Waterman), addicted to the worst franchise in sports history. Also starring: Bil Dwyer, Tara Fischer, Peter Berman, Nancy Bell.
